Baton Rouge, Louisiana

In 2010, FWFocus Productions produced a public outreach documentary for the City-Parish of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It was designed to promote public involvement in Baton Rouge’s forthcoming comprehensive plan. Louisiana is a politically complicated and complex environment for issues like urban revitalization and neighborhood planning. Because of this environment, not only did the content need to be politically sensitive so as to not lose segments of the viewership, but the actual interviewees and shooting locations had to be carefully selected on advice from local advisors. This highlighted to us that for public-private partnership pieces, it’s not just important what you show, but what (and who) you shoot.
